Wondering how to create a link in Website Baker?

It's as easy as 1-2-3-4:

  1. Copy the address you want people to go to when you click the link.
  2. Log in to the administrator side of your Website Baker site and edit the page where you want to insert the link.
  3. Selecting the text you want to turn into a link by highlighting it with your mouse and click the icon that looks like 3 chain links in the editor toolbar. The icon is called Insert/Edit Link and is usually located about 2/3 of the way across the second row.
  4. Paste your link in the URL field and click OK to create the link.

Ok, so maybe I had to double up a couple of steps there to keep it down to four, but the important thing is that you now know how to create a link, right?

By the way, if you make a mistake, just place your cursor anywhere in the link and click the same link icon again.

Optional: If you want a new window to open when someone clicks on the link, you will also need to click on the Target tab and select "New Window" for the Target setting. I recommend you do this whenever you link to someone elses site. That way, when they close the window, your website will be right there waiting for them to continue exploring. Otherwise they may go to that site and never come back to your website.
