Anything you do can be fun and meaningful to you. It's all a matter of how you look at it.

Wayne Dyer says that when you change the way you look things, what you see changes and what you do as a coach is no exception. I have experienced this firsthand.

Start by thinking back to when you first thought about becoming ,. Why it was important to you? What did you think it would be like? Who did you see yourself helping? Write down your answers. After each answer, keep digging deeper by asking why, or what does that give you. This is why you do what you do. Next, think about what you would ideally and realistically want to accomplish over next 6 months, year, 5 years as a coach. Who you want to help? What will that do for your life?

Jump forward 20 years and imagine your life as it could be. There is a celebration in your honour. Everyone you have ever help and everyone you have ever touched is there. Why? Who is there? Who loves you? What did you do for them? What are they saying to you? Is your family there? Are your friends there? Who is proud of you? How do you feel in that moment? These are the reasons it is all worth it. It is your legacy that will remain behind and affect generations after you are gone.

Now come back through time. What choices did you make along the way in order for your life to end up that way? What did you have to learn? Who did you need to have around you to support and love you along the way?

Finally, you are back to the present, the day which is the first gift of time and the moment where you can start to live your live, not as a victim or a slave, but by design. Move forward with the knowledge and vision. Love each moment of the journey.

You will get to play in the playground of life when you become passionate and clear about your purpose. Fulfil your basic human need to contribute to the world and grow as a person. Take the time to notice your progress and how it is affecting, maybe even saving other people's lives.

Regardless of whether you are a coach, a cook, a brick layer, a baker, a waitress, a doctor, or anything else you choose to be, you will find a way to have fun doing anything you do in life when you become congruent with the life you really want… and people will actually pay you to do it because they will want this for themselves too.
