Having trouble getting Paypal to work properly? Here are a few tips:
In your Bakery shop of Website Baker
In order to get Bakery working with Paypal properly, you will need to complete instructions on the Bakery site. Step 1 to 3 are listed on that page. Here is the missing Step 4:
4. Under Payment Settings, Paypal email, specify your Paypal account's Primary email address. Don't forget to click Save at the bottom of the page.
PayPal Tip: If your customers see your email address instead of your company name when they go to make a payment, it is because you are using the same email address for logging into Paypal as you specified for your primary email address. To resolve this problem:
- Log into Paypal
- Click on the "My Account" tab
- Click on the "Profile" submenu
- Click on "Email"
- You will need to add a second email addres and make it your primary address.
Use that address when you specify your Paypal email address in Website Baker/Bakery and your clients will see your company name instead of an email address when they go to make a payment.
Note: When you create your Paypal merchant account, you will need specify a different addresses Paypal account email address than the one you use to log into Paypal. Otherwise your customers will see an email address at the top of the page instead of your company name.
