Connectors

When you market to a potential client, you end up with potentially one client if they hire you. However, when you market to a connector, they will become your marketing force. So what’s a connector? It’s someone who is going to market your business to many other people; in other words, they connect you to many people.

Traditional marketing is like a funnel. You talk to a lot of people and every once in a while a new clients drops out of the bottom. A better way of marketing is to turn the funnel upside down. Sell yourself talk to a few people who will become raving fans and market you to the many people they know.  The top of the funnel (small end) is you marketing to a few and the many clients come out of the bottom.
